  • CPU Frequency: 200-400
  • PCI Express Clock: 100-145
  • PCI Clock Synchronization Mode: Auto, To CPU, 33.33MHz.

1T/2T Memory Timing.

ASUS A8N5X rev. 1.00, BIOS 0301
NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT (16p/6v, 350/1000 MHz)
AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (2.4GHz, Venice, 512 KB)
  • Память – 2×512 MB Corsair CMX512-4400C25
Western Digital Raptor WD740GD
Zalman CNPS7700Cu
Zalman
SilverStone Zeus ST65ZF (650W)

Asus A8N5X socket 939

Re: A8N5X manual says two DIMMS of Corsair ValueSelect not supported. true?

I’ve got 2 DIMMs of Corsair VS DDR400 working, but both are in channel A. I could not get it to boot with 1 DIMM in channel A and 1 in channel B. I haven’t troubleshot yet, but the worst case scenario is that I’ll lose out on dual channel speeds.

This will go in the FWIW category. Just built a A8N5X and put two 1 gig A-DATA Vitesta’s in with no issue what ever. (ADBGC1A16K)

RTFM. Why would someone do that when there is 24 Hr. Tech support here?

@op.

Is there any blocked out pins on the header (the cable) and a corresponding missing pin on the motherboard?

How about a little 1, or an arrow printed on the header. How about a corresponding mark on the motherboard?

Please clarify your question.
